Blue Basin

Every Sunday in my hometown (in the Philippines) the city council allow farmers and fishermen to sell their catch and produce in these certain place. Many peple in the city goes to this place because all the vegetables, fruits and seafoods are fresh. When I was in the Philippines last May we went to the place and took pictures of the seafoods. One blue basin I spotted contain jelly fish I never know we can eat jelly fish. I did not buy it though I just took picture.

    See the tomatoes in red and orange/yellow, the hot pepper, onion and green onion. Looks good hehehe.

Reminiscing

Right now I am reminiscing our Apple and Cherry picking with friends. I just realized that I loved cherries very much and for the fact that I can climb this tree two weeks ago I bought two cherry trees. Yup I am so determine to have cherry trees right in my own backyard. For the apple tree we have what they call crab apples but I will soon plant my own apple tree and the variety should be red delicious like the apple below ,red and juicy. Here are the photos of my cherries and apples.

Market Colors

                                                Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday is our Farmers Market day.
                             I love going to Farmers Market the colors of the vegetables and flowers makes me
                                    happy and I have a good time taking photos of it too.

                                    Then I saw this cute little centerpiece. I love to bring this home!

                                                          And there are the green leafy vegetables. Remember to have a good        healthy body eat lots of green leafy vegetables, but I am guilty of that I don't I mean not much. ^_^

Apple Picking

I and bunch of friends were apple picking yesterday and it's a lot of fun!! ^_^ Going to do it again next year!

       Blake Orchard in Armada, Michigan is a huge orchard. It's a little bit far away from my place and it's                           my first time to visit this place.

      This two young ladies happened to be my model, lol! Blakes Orchard does not only have fruits but also vegetables, like tomatoes and bell pepper.

          I couldn't believe how many wasted apples laying on the ground. I don't know if the owner of the orchard would clean the place before winter  or just leave it there to de compost anyway it is good for the tree too. My favorite is not the Mcintosh but this apple on the right corner and its name is Red Delicious. It is crunchy and very sweet. ^_^

Anything red

Two days of partying and both parties had lechon/roast pork. Well then there are some foods or dish that has a bit of redness in them and here they are.

The wedding

Yesterday hubby and I attended his niece wedding. The bride is beautiful and the cake is pretty. It's simple but loving the simplicity of it.

                      All the photos are taken by me. Can I pass to be a wedding photographer now?

Fried rice with smoke oyster

I had this dish the other day and with a twist I put a smoke oyster on top. It was good and to those who loves smoke oyster it's more yummy!!

Straw/Blueberry pie

Yesterday, hubby and I went to Oakland Sportsman club to have there famous fish and chips. While we are waiting for our turn to get our food (it's eat all you can fish and chicken ^_^) I saw the table where all the dessert are displayed. And for the first time I was drawn to one beautiful and colorful pie and here it is.

Ruby Red Tuesday~ Hollyhock

This year I had planted four kinds of Hollyhock. This is my fourth one and it just blossom yesterday. It has a little bit of pinkish and reddish in color but the design is so beautiful very different to other 3 hollyhocks that I had. Here is my Fiesta Hollyhock!

Red hollyhock

This is one of my Hollyhock a deep red maroon color. It grows so fast, that now it's taller than me.
