The cone
Who in the world will buy pine cones? If I go around the neighborhood I can find plenty of them. This is more than thrift-ing because not a single cent is shed from my pocket. But just a stroll in the neighborhood will do. I was in this store and they have this huge wreath full of pine cones and mind you the price is too high. Here is my pine cone ready to be painted or glitterize ^_^
My Table setting since the beginning of Advent.
I have a good time layering dishes every weekend. To layer color is fun and putting colors in one place makes me feel happy. I don't buy expensive dishes, nope, they are all thrift-ed, that means finding it in garage sales, rummage sales, church sales, estate sales etc. and it is so cool because when I look online these stuff are expensive after all. It's just that some don't want it or two or more are missing and don't want it. I have one box of dishes and the old woman gave it to me for $4.00 and it was there wedding present. She and her husband were married for 42 years (imagine how old those dishes are ^_^) and at that time she had a garage sale her husband passed away a year ago. I feel like okey this is like an inheritance and I took it right away. She told me some have chips on it but some don't because she took care of those dishes, my heart melted.
