Salad or coleslaw?

            Every time we ate at a restaurant I always order salad. I don't know but the salad that I ate in the restaurant does not taste good than what I prepared at home lol!! My favorite dressing is raspberry vignette or ranch dressing that's it! What about you do you like salad or coleslaw and what is your favorite dressing?

Tuna macaroni salad

Hubby loves macaroni salad. I like to put chicken but he likes tuna. So I made one for him with a twist, because on top I put french onion, resins which I love and at the bottom a lettuce.

Chicken and spinach salad

Since I arrived here in the US I am living a very sedentary life. That means that I don't have enough exercise. Aside from that I couldn't find a lot of green vegetables that I could cook the way I used to buy, eat and cook in the Philippines. The leafy green vegetables that I could grab and just eat it with chicken or any other stuff is spinach. As I look at it, it looks like "alugbati" in the Philippines but here in the US they eat it uncooked so I follow them. The other day, I wanted to eat lots of green leafy vegetable and here is my salad with hubby put some fried potatoes ^_^, then I also put slice strawberries, grilled chicken and that's it dinner is serve.

Friday dinner...

This is kind of a late post but I love to share our dinner date with my husband son and his fiancee. Hubby got a call late in the afternoon from his son and he invited us for a dinner at Luckys Restaurant. This restaurant is known to have the best steak in town you have to place a  reservation since people do come in this restaurant in droves. So when we get there people are waiting outside chit-chatting waiting for there reservation to be called, we decided to wait outside too since the weather is really nice, it's sunny but the wind is a little chilly. When we are already seated we looked at the menu and jeez everything looks good. Here are the food that hubby and I ordered.

Grouper with crab stuffing and asparagus
