Chicken & Cabbage Stir Fry

I love to cook a cooking for home I should say. Nothing elaborately done in my cooking I like to make it simple but very tasteful. I remember this dish my father used to cooked this one. When I looked at it online there is one that looks a bit the same but has the same way of seasoning it. So here is mine a very simple home cooking...

Prepare the ingredients...

I boil the chicken and save the chicken stock later...you have to flake or dice the white meat..

Prepare the wok put on the oil when it is a bit hot put the garlic then the ginger paste (I used ginger paste)..

Then saute the chicken put a little salt...

When meat is all done put the cabbage, let it cover and simmer till wilted..

On the last part when the cabbage is already wilted ( I like my veggies to be crunchy) get one egg scramble it and then stir in to the vegetable. I then season it with hoisin sauce and oyster sauce. taste it and lunch or dinner dish is done!

Herb Pork Roast

Hubby bought me a new slow cooker but this time it has more function than just slow cooking. I can put the pot over the stove, and the base where the pot is seated I can use it for frying very cool huh? Anyway, since I lost my slow cooker somewhere I have not cook any pork roast or beef. When I got the slow cooker I immediately cook the pork roast here is my recipe.

Ingredients:

4-5 lbs pork roast, boneless or bone-in
4 large cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
2 tbsp water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp sage
 1/2 tsp ground cloves
2 pcs of potatoes peeled quartered ( or as many potatoes as you want)
carrots ( I used the already cut carrots)

Procedure:
1. In a small bowl combine the salt, thyme, sage, and cloves. Rub into pork roast.
2. Place pork roast in the slow cooker. Put the potatoes, garlic and water. Set the temperature to 4 to 5 hours (depending on how you like for the pork to be tender) . Put the carrots an hour or 33 minutes before you turn the cooker off.

                                                            2 sticks butter
                                                            2 cans chunk pineapple
                                                            2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup each sugar and flour, mix
                                                             crushed Ritz crackers

Procedure:

* Layer pineapple chunk at the bottom of the dish.
* Top with 1 cup cheese
* Spread 1/2 of sugar and flour

The repeat the procedure of layering. Top with crushed Ritz crackers. Bake @ 350F until brown around one hour.

This is one of the hit dish in the event. More than five people asked for the recipe and I gave it to them sharing is the best thing to do in this life. Happy eating! Linking to Foodie Friday
