Morning Glory

Last year I try to plant morning glory but it was kind of late for the season. This year I made it a point that I would plant the seeds early so I did. Now it is an envy for all since my patio/deck is loaded with morning glory and because there are plenty I cut some for my vases.

I was attracted to these when I saw it.  Yes I like to ride on one of those horse especially the brown one. The brown horse hubby said is a working horse that is why I guess he is taller and huge!

The Blue

If you have not visited Niagara Falls, Canada you should go. Take time to visit that place because it is so beautiful! The first time we went there we did not have time to roam around since it was fall and it is cold. Few weeks ago me and my friends went to Toronto, Canada and we agreed to stop by at Niagara Falls. This time it is summer and yes I walk and roam around from end to end and it was so gorgeous! As I look at these huge body of water I just cannot comprehend how powerful the water is. I cannot even wrap in my mind where all the waters come from and where they go? In the Philippines where I live our electric power comes from a Fall but not as huge and powerful like Niagara Falls but still it provide electric power to hundred of thousand of people in the Philippines. I wonder if this Falls also provide electric power to Canada it would be nice, right?

Today our temperature almost reaches to 50F here in Michigan it is a big thing here. I cannot wait to get out and clean my flower and vegetable garden. But for now I like to look back last fall when bunch of friends went there for a weekend getaway.

Icicle

I cannot complain because we have a weather that is tolerable. We have one ice storm and several snow storm but what can I expect I live here in Michigan right? So if it snow gonna just have to enjoy it. The other day the sun was out and so it melts a little bit I can only say I saw a long icicle and it is not even melt all. I can only imagine when it gets to warm up where all these snow goes? ^_^

I don't think so snow will melt so soon. We have snow as high as our mail box and for months now I have not seen ground lol! Practically I am walking on top of the snow so think about the birds amd bees and other animals where they go? The other day I did bought a bird feeder and put a lot of different kind of seeds. So the first bird that I spotted is the bluebird and good news it looks like pregnant. What do you think is this bird pregnant?

I have not heard of "polar vortex" but last two weeks ago we had it and I do not like it ^_^ It is too cold it started with an ice storm like everything is in stand still because of the ice. Then all of a sudden the temperature plunged down like for the very first time we had a temperature below 0F and it stays like that for days. Not just below zero but double negative digit with the windchill that is the same temperature it is tooooo cold for me.

Alamo

One year this month hubby and I went to San Antonio, Texas. One place that I was aching to visit is the historical place Alamo. So we went to the place one afternoon and it was pouring hard but it did not stopped me from taking photos. People were in their jackets but what the heck I am from Michigan it is only rain not snow hehehehe. Anyway, though it was raining hard I took a lot of photos and one of it is this shot. Spot the blue and red?

And we were not able to get inside because of the rain. I am still thinking of this place and when I get back to San Antonio, Texas next time I see to it I will be there early in the morning so we could roam the place and enjoy.

Blue Basin

Every Sunday in my hometown (in the Philippines) the city council allow farmers and fishermen to sell their catch and produce in these certain place. Many peple in the city goes to this place because all the vegetables, fruits and seafoods are fresh. When I was in the Philippines last May we went to the place and took pictures of the seafoods. One blue basin I spotted contain jelly fish I never know we can eat jelly fish. I did not buy it though I just took picture.

    See the tomatoes in red and orange/yellow, the hot pepper, onion and green onion. Looks good hehehe.

Little things

Everytime hubby and I visit a town I like to buy little knick knacks for a souvenir. It so happened that the store we went to has full of little blue knick knacks which one do you like?
