How I eat my avocado

 In my native country Philippines we have abundant supply of Avocado or Guacamole in summer. I grow up eating and liking it. How I eat my avocado is just to cut them in half, then peel it then I put a brown sugar on top and that's it. Simple as one, two, three! Some like to blend it then mix with milk, sugar and crushed ice but I prefer mine to eat as it is. Here is the avocado that I ate yesterday.

Guacamole or Avocado

Bought two pieces of Avocado at the grocery store the other day and I was right it will ripe after two days. Last night I peel one Avocado and slice it put it in a dish and spread a chocolate syrup on top. I used to dip my Avocado on a brown sugar but this one I make it a little bit fancier. ^_^

Ice Candy

Now what is an ice candy? Well back in the Philippines ice candy is made by fruits like avocado/guacamole, mangoes, that are sweet and ripe and  young coconut. Aside from fruits many make ice candy from any juices most specially pineapple and orange juice. After all this main ingredients you mix it with water and sugar. For commercial purposes they put a lot of water and sugar and a little of the main ingredients. But for me, since it's only me and hubby is going to eat I make pure avocado, with evaporated milk, a little water and sugar. I blend it well and then little by little I put it in a small plastic container. Ice candy is what young and old like to eat most specially if it is hot. It refreshes you and it's also affordable. Anyhow here is my ice candy...

The ice candy wrapper I bought this in the Philippines that last time I was there. Hubby love it and it makes me make more hehe.
