Right now I am reminiscing our Apple and Cherry picking with friends. I just realized that I loved cherries very much and for the fact that I can climb this tree two weeks ago I bought two cherry trees. Yup I am so determine to have cherry trees right in my own backyard. For the apple tree we have what they call crab apples but I will soon plant my own apple tree and the variety should be red delicious like the apple below ,red and juicy. Here are the photos of my cherries and apples.

Delightfully pretty. I love especially the first.
I like cherries too, and we grow cherries and apples here in Washington. I prefer honeycrisp apples to red delicious.
I love cherries!

Yum!
I love both. They are so red!
Fresh fruit, on the tree, is the sweetest treat ever! To be able to gather the fruit in your yard is the best of treats...
Yummy shots Kim!
I agree; cherries are delicious. We also have a huge cherry tree. In the spring it's white with blossoms, but I never saw a cherry on it. I'm fighting for its life though. Three weeks of cherry blossoms are also a delight-
Edible rubies, the very best kind. Happy RT.
I love cherries! We imported them from California and they are quiet expensive here. I've seen cherry trees being planted here but they don't fruit well and very sour. Just not suitable for our climate. You're so lucky to be able to grow your own apple and cherry in your yard.
Red red apples! my fave is Honey Crisp though. so sweet.
I can climb tree as well hehe when I was a kid...I love cherries too.
Mine is up here

I'm with you, I adore cherries, what bliss it would be to have my own tree.
