Time

Time is a figure eight, at its center the city of Deja Vu

Passing time isn't steady thing. People try to measure it, but some days seem to have years packed into them, and others pass in the blink of an eye. Some days matter, and others don't. -Blue Balliett

I love the clock. I was in a store once that must have had a hundred clocks simular to this one - all of them ticking, their chines chining.... great memory. I like the second quote except I dont agree totally - maybe is my age - but ALL days count... even those that seem to slip by unnoticed. So have a great day!

That is a beautiful clock and the second photo does give the feeling of pondering the passing of time. Great presentation on what I think was a hard topic.

That second photo is so evocative of time passing slowly and easily.

So true.

The young fisherman gives the impression that he has all the time in the world. The clock is beautiful but looks as if an Egyptian mummy will come out of the case!

What a magnificent clock. Love how you captured the boy peacefully passing time.
