This was taken last January 2010, this is what we got after a snow storm. After the nature dump all the snow in our area and took picture. I just wonder why if I took a picture of snow the color is bluish, why is that? Any answer?
And oh I am not dreaming of this weather yet, not yet!!

Love that blue, Kim.
Happy Blue Monday!
Happy Blue Monday! Is your camera a Panasonic Lumix? Sometimes there is a bluish tinge when I take photos with the Lumix.
I have had the same thing happen with some of my photos. I believe it has something to do with the lighting. It is very hard to get photos of snow.
the blue tint is from overexposure. you would need to make adjustments by stopping down (if you have a manual camera)
Love all your blue photos. I'm not ready for snow yet either. Happy Blue Monday.
I love your blue snow pictures! I don't know why they are bluish, but they are such cool pictures! Thanks for visiting my blog, and I hope you visit me again! I've enjoyed reading through your blogs!
Mine turned blue too when we had out last snow. It is the light reflected from the snow and the type of day it is.
The cold reach up here brrrrr/
