Growing up in the Philippines eating sweet potato is an every day affair. We can buy fried caramelized sweet potato cooked right along the road is a common sight in our town. And this dessert is one of the most cheap snacks you can get but is the healthiest right? The other day hubby was crazing for sweet yam/potato. I looked at our pantry and is only one piece but then it does not stopped my from cooking/boiling it to tender. After cooking it I let it cool then peel the skin. Then I mashed the potato put it in an oven dish spread some brown sugar then some marsh mallows bake it till the brown sugar looks caramel or brown.
