My Tablescape

My first tablescape this season. We had the opportunity to picked apples knowing that almost all the trees here were affected by the frost last spring. Thankfully, one farm here in Michigan allows people to picked apples at there orchard. As we approached the farm I see the huge difference from last year to this year. For that reason the apples and all the fruits here in Michigan are way too high. Before one gallon of apple cider is $6.50 now it cost $8.50 that's is because there is nothing they can get from around here. So I thought my first tablescape is about the apples.

I'm so glad you got a chance to pick apples on your own. That is such a fun thing to do! So sorry the crops aren't as good as last year. I know that has a huge impact on the economy and our personal pocketbooks! You found some really nice apples, though, and I love it that you left the stems on some of them. They look beautiful on your table! Happy Autumn!
