Durian

Some people can't take the smell of this fruit, Durian. Durian is the Philippines national fruit (Mango pala).  I am part of the majority of people that can't take the smell of this fruit but that was before. Right now I am craving for it.  But beware this fruit can make your hypertension high it is too nutritious and it is also an aphrodisiac. I go for aphrodisiac, lol! A cousin sent me this photo when him and his family went to Davao for a vacation.

Do you missed Durian? Linking to FOOD FRIDAY

Really? i didn't even know we have a national fruit. but if we'd vote for it, i'd go for mango.:p

i had durian in davao, and it was not as disgusting as i expected it to be. i was told it was a hybrid, the native durian smells more lethal. it's too rich for me. not something i'd crave for.:p

I must admit that I am not familiar with the taste of durian for it is not much prevalent in Metro Manila and is very expensive at that. Although durian is present at some fruit stalls, I would rather spend my money for mangoes rather than for durian. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Thanks guys for the correction, it's mango pala is the national fruit. And yes I do crave for this fruit, lol! Maybe because here wala akong makitang hinog na durian, kung meron man naka-frozen na siya and I don't like it. ^_^

Durian! My grandparents lives in Davao before so I get to visit them and eat durian candies, cause I am not strong enought to eat the real fruit but my mom and other relatives loves it so much.

This reminds me of my family back there in Manila.
