When I first cook this hubby ask me what it is. I told him it is a sweet potato cook in oil and covered with caramel. He only knew about baking sweeto potato but not my way of cooking it. In the end he likes it and from time to time I cook the sweet potato this way especially if I crave for it.

i made a kikay camote-Q about 2 weeks ago but it was gone before i even got my camera.:p i cut the camote into thin strips and served them on top of each other...maarte daw sabi ng nanay ko.*lol*

ay, ang sarap naman! i don't know how to cook them..yes, really. i guess that much cooking oil on my pot scares me! lol.

happy hearts day!
Nakaka-miss kumain ng Camote Cue! I still haven't attempted cooking this, though..because I know brown sugar could be difficult to take off the pan once it gets cold, and it's difficult to scrub the pan while it is hot.
Sadly I'm not a big fan of camote but nevertheless... those look yum! You might convince me to try them again :D
