Small Family

Thanks for the post from Nora Mccoy

My family is pretty small which means I usually get to pick what we watch on TV. I love the idea that when I get home from work the living room is my domain and that I can turn it to whatever I like as long as it’s reasonably kid friendly. My favorite show at the moment is House Hunters International because I think it’s fun to just live vicariously through the travellers on that show. There’s something to be said for picking up your whole family and moving like some of the people on there do and it really gives you an appreciation for what you can get here in the states. We’ve got so many channels from directv.com that I can’t imagine missing anything better – the Travel Channel is also a favorite but something about the quick and easy format of House Hunters really captures my imagination. I don’t think we’ll ever move abroad but if we did I would eat it up! I love to dream about things like that at least.

We all have dreams like that but underneath them is the satisfaction that we have a homne that we are content with. We are very lucky to have what we have and also to be able to dream.
