Resurrection rolls

Yesterday was our last day of Religious Education class at church. Though we still have two more days for the next two weeks but it's more of having activity with the kids and then a family mass and an ice cream feast for the last week.
And our lesson yesterday is about the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. I read and prepare my lesson from our lesson planner but then a thought came to me. I want my kids to remember our lesson well, so instead of staying in the classroom, we do the Station of the Cross and then we bake Resurrection rolls. The resurrection rolls I got this idea from Catholic Cuisine. After each kid make their resurrection rolls which I forgot to take a photo. I asked them to go back to the classroom ( have the 4th grade merge to my 3rd grade since their teacher was absent) and then I reviewed them about what they saw in each station of the cross. When the oven make a sound that it's done, we go back to the kitchen and I took each one and put it on their plate what they've bake. They can only see one thing..it's yummy!! Can I asked for more! ^_^

I am done eating can I asked for more??

Very eventful days for you. This is the first time I ever heard of a resurrection rolls. What is its main ingredient? Great that you inspire your students to make the Station of the Cross. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

Hi Mel, the main ingredient is two crescent rolls, butter melted, sugar, cinnamon. I don't know if pillsbury has a crescent rolls sold at your grocery store there but if there is try this one the kids do love it and it's yummy!
