Pork steak Filipino way

In the Philippines we have beef steak which we spell it "bistik" and pork bistik too. Well here in the US there beef steak is the huge chuck, thick beef meat. Most of the time I can't finish eating the whole steak because it's  too large for me. Before I came here hubby used to eat beef meat but now he shun of eating any kind of meat I guess I rub my way into him. ^_^ The other day I was craving for tagalog "bistik" but we don't have beef ( don't buy beef) but I have pork. Then the idea of cooking pork bistik. The procedure is so easy cut the meat thinly. Marinate it with soy sauce and garlic. In a pan put cooking oil, saute the garlic and onion. When it is translucent put the marinated pork (including the sauce), stir it and cover. It starts to boil and water and oil comes out from the meat. Uncover and stir it again. Put the heat to medium and let the water evaporate. When oil starts to come out the meat stir it again until no water but oil is cooking the meat. Taste the meat if it is tender and done then it is cooked. You can also put onions on top for plating.
