At the north side of our house there are plenty of wild blackberries. But hubby told me it was not wild before because her mom planted it but since it was not taken cared for years it grow wild. But for me wild or not wild I have the enjoyment walking through the tall grasses and hunt at those ripe and sweet blackberries. The other day I had a chance to go around and I got plenty of them and I eat it right way, sorry hon!! LOL! When I show these photo to my hubby he told me to go to the far end of the hay field because there are many wild blackberries there. So I am off to go now, ciao!

sarap mamitas .we always pick wild plum in oklahoma but not black beries yet. hubby said there are some wild blak berries there too.and i'm looking forward to pick some when we get there.
I have great memories of picking blackberries and making jam.
Great and enjoy because they are chemical free, hopefully!
(One friend from Alabama sent me a jar of homemade berry jam. Thankfully, it went through the Customs after testing. Phew!)

I was just out looking at ours growing by the side of the house. They are not ripe enough to eat yet but they will be great on my cereal in the morning. Good one.
Yum. When picking my tomatoes, I've been known to pop a few in my mouth as I go along. Same applies to other veggies that may be eaten raw.
Bought the last thornless blackberry plant in the nursery a few weeks ago. It is struggling but am hopeful it lives. :D
