Statue

Here in my hometown I do not know if I remember seeing a statue of a famous person that I know of. But around my hometown I found some statue carve in a wood.

I do not know about your area but here in Michigan in my neck of woods it is still cold and we even have flurries and rain today. I already like to go out and take photos but seems I cannot yet. I took this photo last year when we go up north.

As you can see it here the barn has a signage and says 1902 old barn

An Old School building 1883

These was taken last year. Hubby and I went to Huckleberry Village here in MI. At first I did not know what to expect but when we were there it was really pretty there. Genesee County people took time, money and effort to gather all old buildings in there area. They put all old buildings that they can find in one village which is now called Huckleberry Village. How they rebuild the houses and building is beyond me but I am thankful that we have something to look at and that is so nice.

Mackinaw, Michigan

Last fall friends and I went to see Mackinac island here in Michigan. Yes people we have an island here we have seveal of them islet and island ^_^ In fact Michigan has many beautiful places to visit and see. The photos were taken at Mackinac Island after we roamed around the island ( it is where the Grand Hotel is located remember Somewhere in Time movie?) And because it was already a bit cold we did not visit the butterfly sanctuary which they said was beautiful! But there is always time I like to go back there this spring or summer and do horse back ride or bike ride around the island.

FMTSO: Entrances

In my trip last year in Singapore..

In some towns we do see General Stores but some towns they don't have stores anymore. When I see this one I did not hesitate to take a shot a general store is getting uncommon already. In my native country Philippines we happen to have stores in almost every 30 yards hehehehe. And we have malls to top with that but here in the US it is getting rare. So if you happen to see one take a photo of that store.

Night Shot

I like to do night shot but because I do it alone I get lazy oftentimes. I just wish that I meet people who has the same hobby like me I would be happy to do in the spirit of photography. I was browsing my photos and found this photo. This night was cold as I look our neighbor I like the foggy and the light combine together. I went outside with my tripod with me and the camera. I took a several shots and try to avoid shooting with cars passing by. After shooting I went inside the house and when I see the photos in my computer I was shock. I love what I got and found out this is what we call panning? Love it and wish I could do it on top of a house or building overlooking a highway it would be so cool!

Self Portrait

Well here I am ^_^

I was born and raised in the Philippines. Eleven years ago I meet a wonderful man, fall in love, now married for eight years. That's how I came here in the US he is a loving American guy. I love to read, cook and photography. I like to travel and the best therapy that I found out is taking photos.
