This week challenge for Friday My Town Shoot Out is about doors. Right now I am here in San Antonio, Texas and I tell you guys and gals I think I brought the cold air here from Michigan. Since we arrived here last Wednesday we have a overcast sky and yesterday and today it is chilly. ^_^ Hubby and I haven't had a chance to walk at the Riverwalk and Alamo area but yesterday we drove around downtown and took some photos. Here is my decent shot ( I so thought) of mine.
The chapel of the Alamo Mission is known as the Shrine of Texas Liberty.

I was hoping you would get to the Alamo. Sorry about the weather but great to see it. I remember seeing it many many years ago and being amazed at how small it was. The old Davy Crockett movies made it seem much larger.
So that's the Alamo? I had imagined it as larger, too. It looks like it has a very solid door.
I love old building with history! Hope you get some great weather soon, and take lots of photos!
Probably the most famous door of all the bunch, I agree with Pauline, I thought it was larger, well it looks it in the films.
I'm so sorry it's cold in San Antonio! I didn't think that was possible! :)
