My Peaches

This morning I was roaming around the backyard chasing butterflies. I was not wearing a proper dress so I choose not to go deep through the fields. I took a walked towards my three peaches tree but still looking for more butterflies. Then I happened to see the horse apple tree which has many fruits and took a picture of it too. Then I decide to walked towards the house. Then I happened to glanced the tall peach tree and I saw red pinkish color. I was like....did I see colors on the leaves now? I didn't wear my eyeglass so I looked again and to my surprised it's PEACHES!! I hurriedly walked towards the tree and to for the first time I say sorry to this particular tree because I thought it would not bare a fruit!! I knew that last Spring it has plenty of blossoms but I observed it year after year there is no fruit, none! So I thought it is a gay peach tree. Is there a gay tree? Anyway, I ran towards the house and called hubby he was also happy to see me happy jumping up and down. He went to get a ladder and he checked if it is ripe. It is ripe!! I tasted it immediately and oh my oh my it's the sweetest peach ever!!!
Noticed the two fruits that has holes. The ants started to eat them. They are ripe and too sweet!
I vow myself to take care of my trees. I have one blueberry bush and I would take care
                         of it too.

Enjoy! I imagine the peaches may not look perfect, but I bet they will be sweeter and more wonderful than anything in the supermarket.

There are lots of reasons a tree could have flowers and no fruit. Maybe it rained at the wrong time. Maybe it needed a pollinator. Maybe it was just taking the year off! I guess you will check it every year after this! Lucky you, fresh peaches!

Hahaha, you are like a child chasing butterflies in your yard. I like that. It's nice to be carefree and exuberant at times. That you saw ripe peaches fruits in your peach tree after so many years of not having any yield is God's way of rewarding your childlike attitude in life. You take care of His little creatures that happen to come your way. Thanks for the exuberant post. God bless you always.
