Fresh Miki/Noodle

Last few weeks ago me and my friends went to an Oriental Store and do some shopping. On the frozen aisle I spotted this fresh miki in one pack. Gush how I missed fresh miki so I did not hesitate to grabbed two packs and yesterday I cooked it with shrimps. Hubby loves it except that he said I can't eat the shrimp everything is in here. I was laughing and laughing. He meant that he can't eat it with the head and the shell, of course as a Filipino I knew how to take off the shrimp head and took off the shell, but with my American husband seems it is not easy for him so I took the shrimps and cleaned it up for him. I am sweet lol!

Are you not yet hungry? I am and right now I am eating the left over from yesterday. ^_^

Fun Deal

You heard the latest craze in town.  Not yet? Well, I am talking about this new website that I have found today and it is about bidding. It is the coolest bidding/auction website that I have seen so far. Their items are iPad, iPhone, Kindle, Laptops, LED TV’s, and PS3, watches, jewelry, toys and many more items that you can think of. For days now, I have been thinking of buying an iPad or a new cell phone but for some reason I cannot choose which one is my priority at this time. So I decided to look around for some deals and this is where I find dealfun.com.
For a beginner auctioneer they provided a place for them so they can polish their skills. What nicer is that their customer service is prompt and you do not have to wait for hours to talk to anybody because they will take your call immediately. They also have a guarantee, which they call win guarantee and these means if you do not win in the first 24 hours, all your bids are rest. Now where can you find such offer like this? It is absolutely beautiful and awesome and I would tell you friends I am bidding now. Ciao!

Food Network Next Iron Chef

The Next Iron Chef is coming and I am so excited about it. I have been following this show for several seasons now and to tell you frankly there are some episodes that I skip because I do not want anybody to leave. I like them all to stay but in any kind of competition there is always one winner, right?

Ten renowned chefs battled for ultimate culinary title in All Star Season of Food Network series The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs! It will be hosted by Alton Brown, season premieres of this eight episode will be on Sunday, October 30th at 9pm ET/PT.

Of course, everybody are excited who are the chefs who is going to compete this time. Well I have the names and they are Elite Chefs Anne Burrell, Michael Chiarello, Elizabeth Falkner, Alex Guarnaschelli, Chuck  Huges, Robert Irvine, Beau MacMillan, Spike Mendelsohn, Marcus Samuelsson and Geoffrey Zakarian would compete for Kitchen Stadium Supremacy

We all have favorite chefs and I find them all deserving to compete because they are number one in their own right. I find the men very good looking and hot!!  The women can't be outdone too they are very competitive as I watched their shows in Food Network they can't be shaken with just one good looking Chef, they could possibly be the Super Chef. For now I am very excited of this news. So guys and gals mark your calendar for this coming event it would be fun and for me there is so much thrill and suspense with matching drama, heated with tension and suspense. Remember this is an all star competition so do not miss this date!!

Now I felt drunk because I am eating grapes since yesterday afternoon and early this morning I am munching grapes too. I'd tell you while typing this post I feel so sleepy I know I am drunk lol!! I found a very easy recipe on how to make a grape jam, I think I am going to follow this recipe it won't take long and it's very easy to make. Ciao for now and well see if I can do it today. ^_^

Rice Pudding

They call it here rice pudding but I call this like "lugaw" or rice porridge. But our "lugaw or rice porridge" in the Philippines is a bit more soupy while this one is a bit more drier. I love this one in fact, the recipe for this is just for the family (that is what they said lol) so I got the recipe too. This is only milk, then raisins then sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar for sweet but not too sweet though. I am thinking of cooking this today since it is raining. But hope not to rain tomorrow we are going to attend a wedding. Ciao!!

Right now I am craving for lemon pie. My sister in law can bake the very best lemon pie in town. Fresh from the oven and if it is fresh from the oven it is home made. I think I am going to call her if she had some in her refrigerator ^_^
And remember this I don't have a sweet tooth. But if I crave your pies or cake that means it is good!

We Need It

After I passed my road test and get my drivers license the next hubby and I did was to find a car. For a new driver and at the age of 40 learned how to drive I didn't choose new car rather I choose a second hand car but still nice and drive well. We found the car I prayed for with the price I also prayed for and it was owned by an old couple. They told us that they don't hardly drive it because they have two cars so when we bought it, it has 80,000 mileage. I was pretty happy about it and contented it passed the taste of hubby as well as the ride.
The next thing we  do is to find an auto insurance. It is most likely the tedious part because hubby was looking for a cheaper one  but not too cheap. He look at websites who give you a free quote and luckily he found one.
And I so remember the first thing he ask is the cost of insurance. And thankfully he settled to one auto insurance that satisfy our need.

Femnutrition

We women love to feel good and look good.  What ever they say, to be fit and healthy is the most important thing that we have to put in our priority first. How are we going to function if we have aches and pains everywhere in our body? If we cannot stand because we are too heavy, how can we enjoy life? We pass phases in our life where we lose that metabolism that burn the fat or calories fast. Now that I am in my mid 40’s it is hard to maintain the ideal weight. It was my dilemma for quite sometime but then a friend of mine introduces me to slimquick fat burner. At first I hesitate to try it, it might have some bad effects on me but when I try it, everything just put in the right places.
Well you know what I mean I lose some of those flabby unwelcoming bulges here and there and I am not too conscious some of the skin. This summer for the first time, I wear two-piece bikini and I wear shorts dresses. Hubby is the first one who noticed that I lose weight.  To know that I lose some of the flab I went shopping and yes my size went down and I am so happy of the result.

Good thing I freeze many green and red ones I only have to buy yellow orange. I also like to eat this kind of bell pepper because it sweet and not hot. What about you do you eat bell peppers?

English Tea

When was the first time that you like tea? I knew tea when I was very young. However, growing up I have not seen my mother and father drink tea at home.  Instead, they drink coffee or water. So growing up tea is not our favorite drink to us. After college, I worked at a Chinese owned company and there I found out how important tea for us.  One time my boss asked us if we like tea because they just bought one that she find very healthful. Without batting an eyelash, I get one cup then one-cup lead to more cups. That was the beginning that I was already into tea. I searched the internet for a good tea and even wanted to make my own tea but I also am doubtful for the fact that it might not be good for me. I know for sure that we have to be careful in making our own tea.
Then this morning I read an email from my cousin in UK. She told me that Christmas holiday is fast approaching and asked me if I still have my sweet tooth. I emailed her back right away I knew what she is up to she is going to send me again my favorite Christmas candy and Christmas crackers that comes from English Tea Store.  She send back another email and she told me that I have what I want this Christmas and I am very happy. I cannot wait to get hold of this beautiful stuff from English Tea Store.

I Missed Them All

These are the delicacies that I missed it terribly wanna have some?

FOOD FRIDAY  and FOOD TRIP FRIDAY

Inca Trail Tours

There are several reasons why I like trail tours. First, it is an experience of a lifetime.  I think you all heard about Machu Picchu treks and if you are not into adventure and fun then this is not for you. I have been searching for several countries that have an extreme and fun treks, Machu Picchu comes always as the first place to go. As the saying goes, life is short. Then why not give yourself a chance to have fun and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime.
Second, I love photography. In addition, Machu Picchu basing on the pictures that I saw in the internet is like haven for photographers. Yes, the trek could be hard but when I have my camera with me, I do not mind it all. Inca Trail Tours have 4 days program and 2 days program offered to trekkers. For me I would choose the 4 days program because I want to savor all the beauty around me while I am walking and if I can’t take all the photos in my camera at least I have it in my mind and it would remain in my mind forever.
Therefore, before I will reach the age of 50 I would have done the Machu Picchu trek. It is one of my dreams and I would fulfill it. Just by looking at the photos posted at their website; give me goose bumps how much more if I am already in the place I might faint in excitement. Therefore, friends who want to come with me check the website and let us plan our trip to Machu Picchu!

Digital Printing

Last night we had our first catechist meeting at church.  We discussed our lesson plans for the year and how to improve from last years experience. We were talking about how to deal with the parents on the first day of school and for the next days, weeks and months to come. We tried to encourage them to come to the class  if they like to listen. Or if they like to read, they can go to our small library. We want them to include our activities so the kids also get inspired. Next week we are going to continue the registration because we are having the open house. I asked them if I needed to print out any of the photos that I took last year to make a poster. We decorated and made collages that the parents and kids could see. I know it will be new to them to see their kids having fun at the church school.

So Digital Printing is going to be our best option to make all our plans possible. We looked at the website, and I knew they could make a beautiful digital printing. The company's name is Print Runner. They had beautiful products on their website to browse and choose from. The website is easy to manage and you can chat with them if you need an assistance. Since I have been on this website so many times I know how to navigate and find the stuff that I like from them. I chose bookmarks, stickers, vinyl banners and posters.  We checked the price, and everything is affordable. After all the browsing and comparing we decided which things we are going to order. I was very happy that our leader supported me. I knew then that my room would look awesome when the parents and the children come to see me. I cannot wait for our open house. I know for sure it would be a lot of fun.
