Champorado

Champorado or Tsamporado is just rice with pure cocoa. Before making champorado you have to cook the rice and let it boil until tender. If you are going to tenderize the rice make it like a cup of rice and three cups of water. Stirring constantly makes the water a bit sticky and the rice more tender. Mix the grounded pure cocoa into the rice. When it is done (it has to be with water not dry) scoop it with a laddle and put it in a plate then mix with milk I like evaporated milk and with little sugar my Champorado is done!
