What are you eating?

This week I have a sumptuous food to tell. I cooked dish that way too Filipino hubby would just look at me when I am eating because I am using my hands, the left and the right ^_^ Since I grew up in the Philippines I am used to eat sea food everyday and so vegetables. When I came here in the US it became luxury to me. When I have a chance to see stuff that I missed I do not hesitate to buy it. This week I cooked binagoongang baboy and paksiw and with matching hot rice my day is pretty good! Can not exchange this dish to beef steak, sorry ^_^
Shrimp paste with pork belly. Saute with lots of tomatoes
                                                                garlic and onions, yum!

Paksiw or fish cooked in vinegar, garlic, and onion
What about you guys what you have this week that you feel like you are in the Philippines? ^_^

                                                             FOOD FRIDAY and YUMMY SUNDAY

  1. Yummmm!!!! we almost always have paksiw (or as some of my friends from Dumaguete call it: inun-unan) at my parent's house. i haven't tried cooking binagoongang baboy myself, but i love eating it! :)

...and you're right! both dishes pair so well with hot steamed rice!
...drooling here. and it's only past 3am! lol.

thanks so much for sharing your food this week at Food Friday, Manang Kim

  7. I'm drooling over here! I'm a seafood lover esp shrimp, crab & fish. Inun-unan (as we call it) is yummier if eaten with newly-cooked rice!
