Salad bowl

                                        Here is what I found where I enjoy it  so much!!



When I saw this bowl of salad (all lettuces in different kind/variety) ^_^ right in the middle of our local greenhouse I was drawn to it right away. My mind started to work....thinking that if I will buy this me and my hubby would be able to eat fresh salad everyday. I looked around and then looked at the price tag...hmmmm it's $15.00. So I go around thinking about the fresh salad everyday and of course the nutrients that we could get. Then I saw a Filipina friend who happened to worked at the greenhouse. I told her about my interest of the salad bowl and she told me that she had it since the beginning of Spring and since then she just took some leaves, make a good salad with good dressing and the plant just keep on producing leaves. That was the words that I've waited, so I grab one bowl and bought another kind of  lettuce and spinach to plant more in the bowl. When we got home immediately I cut right away some leaves and voila we had fresh salad!! Loving it!!

    were they all lettuces, manang kim? lettuces were a favorite here, pati kids, they eat it. kaso one time when we went to baguio i did find other variety, http://www.sibuyasrepublic.com/2011/04/14/beef-brocolli/ aya nila un lettuce na hindi green, haha

    Yes, that's a great way to have fresh vegetable salad everyday. Having your own salad bowl of different leafy vegetables can be so enjoyable in cultivating and nourishing in our dinner table. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.

    love them on salads too. My mom is thinking of growing them in the garden as well so we can have our own supply
