    I don't know what it is either, without going to the bookshelf and scouring my insect books - but you're right, it's a bug! And a nice picture, too! :)

    It looks similar to a soldier beetle, but I can't tell from the angle..but they aren't harmful if that is what it is....Thank you for visiting my robin...Michelle
