One week ago, I officially 46-ish years old! Getting there huh!! Anyways, because my birthday falls on Friday, I told my hubby's relatives NO going out to eat. I want to observed Good Friday at church and alone and do my fasting. But before Friday, a bunch of friends agreed to meet up at a friends house for lunch. I cooked Filipino dishes, we ate and chatted, we laughed a simple celebration is with what I need. ^_^ When you are in this age a quality time spent is very important than a grandeur celebration.
Hubby, sneakily bought this the night before my birthday. When I got up Good Friday morning I saw these on the table. Wonder of the roses? I prefer live plants that I could plant after than a bunch of flowers that will only wilted after several days. Want a piece of cake? ^_^
