This is a great selection -- I particularly like the skateboarders. Did you get them to pose like that? And the dirt path crossing the wooden path. Reminds me of Robert Frost's poem "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood" (or something like that). Except for the yellow wood.
Kim. I also noted that you have changed your format so that people cannot copy your photos. I certainly understand that although it keeps me from being able to spotlight anything. This is the first blog I've been able to visit...I usually try to copy one photo from each blog and then later when I'm trying to narrow it down to six, I already have pics if I need them. I'm not sure what I will be able to use, but can you email a jpeg of the skateboarders or tell me how to copy pictures from your blog? My email is riverwatcher11@yahoo.com. Thanks.
Great shots. I did not get anything too spectacular for my post either. But these do fit the theme.

This reminds me of many places I walk all the time. I feel right at home.
ReplyDeleteQuite different pathways you've chosen there, Kim. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind taking a walk along these pathways, so inviting!
ReplyDeleteI like that wooden one. The only places I've seen those here is over wetland/marshes and then they're usually narrower.
ReplyDeleteKids and paths go together well, it must be like many of or towns.
ReplyDeleteThere's something about walking on a wooden path that is very comforting to me. It feels so much more friendly than concrete. Nice selection.
ReplyDeletea wooden pathway - have seen them through woodlands or whetlands but never just in town as this seems to be. would like to know its story.
