This is my favorite breakfast meal. Yes as a Filipino can't help not to have rice in the morning and then of course dried fried fish and scrambled egg. Yummy!
Hi Dean no it's not smoked fish. This fish was washed with salt ocean water then dried it under the sun. The thing with this is that when you fry it, it stinks the whole house, lol!! And it's too salty I would dip it to a vinegar ^_^
pakain po, manang kim...magdala ako patis na may kamatis ^_^

Really wish I could eat fish for breakfast. Amazing what our bodies get used too.
Recognized your name. Otherwise, Mellow Yellow Monday seems like a whole different crowd! Haven't participated in a while. Will be interesting to see if they visit.
I think I'm a little old to start trying dried fish for breakfast, but rice would be nice, and I really like scrambled eggs. My dog likes scrambled eggs, too, so I have to make enough for both of us, with no spices until after I've divided her share into a separate dish. -- K

I have to admit I've never had dried fish but I love eggs and rice so I probably would try it.
